I Know He Loved Me
I am currently reading “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban”. Hagrid said something to Harry that caught my attention about the Hippogriffs (creatures that have bodies, hind legs, and tails of horses, but the front legs, wings, and heads of what seemed to be giant eagles).
“Easy, now, Harry,” said Hagrid quietly. “Yeh’ve got eye contact, now try not ter blink…. Hippogriffs don’ trust yeh if yeh blink too much….”
Well bigla kong naalala ang isang very special person in my life nung nabasa ko yan. Kasi every time na magsasabi sya ng “I love you” palagi siyang nagbliblink.
May study kasi na ang blinking is frequently associated with lying. The word is frequently, okey? Hindi ko sinabing always.
Pero that doesn’t mean na nagsisinungaling siya or pinapaniwala lang niya ang sarili niya at ako na mahal nga niya ako. I know na minahal niya ako. Minahal niya ako sa paraang alam niya at sa paraang kaya niya.
