My Princes

A friend just sent me that text message a few days ago and it made me think over my past relationships. Naks! RelationshipS, plural. Parang ang dami ah. Well for the past 25 years (I just turned 25 yesterday) I had 3 Princes.
First, si Mike. First year high school lang kami noon. So what do you expect? We’re both immature so hindi talaga kami nagtagal. Pero we are very good friends for 12 years na. Kapag may problema ako siya ang una kong takbuhan. He knows me so well na kahit hindi ako magsalita alam niya kung ano ang nararamdaman at naiisip ko.
Second, si Nuts. 4th year high school naman kami that time. We and our friends thought na kami na talaga. We lasted for 5 years. Bakit kami naghiwalay? Hmm…I better not answer that question.
Third, si Creamer. Middle of this year lang naging kami and we lasted for a couple of months. We’re the best of friends now.
Next? Wala pa. God is still preparing my King. But if ever I lose that person again, I will definitely cry and then move on! Well I just have to be patient. I believe that everything arranges itself, given time.
For now I am free to set my dreams to the wings of time. It means that I will let fate take its course and set its own time.
